Robert Sterzing founded Bitlogix® in 2002 when he designed and developed the company's first LAN/WAN network projector control software application. Built on a client-server architecture, the solution offered flexibility and ease-of-use to a class of users previously barred from simplified access to the audiovisual equipment like projectors, plasma displays and LCD monitors. By putting ease of functionality directly in the hands of users Bitlogix quickly assumed a strong market position in their industry.
Robert Sterzing studied computer science at FH Wiesbaden, Germany with emphases on software engineering, real-time data processing and relational database modeling & design. Before founding of Bitlogix Software LLC he worked as the CEO of a leading Japanese projector manufacturer in Germany and has a profound knowledge of the worldwide AV industry. He is also a professional member of the ACM (Association for Computer Machinery), ACCU (Association of C and C++ Users), IEEE organization, and the IEEE Computer Society.
