Free Sharp LCD Monitor Control Software Tool
The Sharp LCD monitor control software was designed for the LCD monitors Sharp AQUOS LC-42D64U, Sharp AQUOS LC-46D64U, Sharp AQUOS LC-52D64U and similar models. The software activates "power on command" in standby mode to enable remote management of Sharp LCD monitors. The LCD monitor has to be connected to the network.

The software works with all Java enabled operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Apple MAC OS X, Linux, Oracle Solaris x86 and SPARC, FreeBSD). Java SE 1.6 is required.

NPC-1 Setup Tool
This software tool is designed for easy setup of the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address through the RS232 port of the NPC-1 device. The application runs only as a console application. It needs to be executed in a command prompt shell.

Instructions

  1. Copy the npcsetup.exe, the .dll file and the readme.txt files to a new directory under your root directory (e.g. C:\npcsetup\).

  2. Please use a null modem cable to connect the serial port of the NPC-1 device to a free serial port of your computer.

  3. Set DIP SW1 to "ON". The DIP switches are located on the front panel of the NPC-1 device.

  4. Run the setup application.
    Usage : C:\npcsetup\npcsetup.exe COMPort [BaudRate]
    Example: C:\npcsetup\npcsetup.exe COM1 19200

  5. Press <Enter> key to start the configuration process or <Ctrl>+C to quit.


Attention:
Please make sure that you use a free serial port on your computer. Connect the NPC-1 and your PC with a null modem cable.
