NetControl System Requirements

To install NetControl Projector Network Management Software the following system requirements are recommended.

Minimum Requirements:

• Intel® Pentium® II/400 MHz or compatible
• Microsoft® Windows® NT (SP5), 2000 (SP3), XP, Windows Server 2003
• 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended)
• Network adapter, access to TCP/IP network and mail server access
• 45 MB free hard disk space (full install)
• CD-ROM drive (optional)
• Sound card and loudspeaker (optional)
• XGA or higher resolution monitor (1024x768, 256 color)
• Mouse or other pointing device
  
  
  

Projector and Interface Requirements:

• Supported network projectors and projectors with a serial port can be found here.
• PJLink network projectors
• Supported serial device server: SDS5110N, PS110, PS410, PS810, and device servers from companies such as Lantronix, Digi, Sharp, atop, and others.
  
  
  

Virtualization Requirements:

NetControl can also be installed on a virtualized Windows environment. Installation on a virtualized Windows system was tested with Xen on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Server, Xen on Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and with VirtualBox on Sun Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris. NetControl can also be installed on a virtualized Windows system running on VMWare ESXi Server.
