Role Overview
Join Bitlogix in developing artificial intelligence capabilities for embedded and edge systems. You will design and deploy efficient models and software that enable real time automation, local decision making, and device level intelligence within demanding hardware and operating constraints.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the development process, from system architecture and model optimization through implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and continued improvement.
What You Will Do
Optimize and deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning models for embedded, edge, and low power systems.
Develop software that processes sensor data and supports real time decision making and control.
Integrate artificial intelligence models with embedded devices, firmware, and hardware interfaces.
Build dependable software for Linux and real time operating system environments.
Work with multithreaded applications, device communication protocols, and resource constrained systems.
Design secure and updateable deployment processes for embedded software and artificial intelligence models.
Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, hardware specialists, and domain experts to develop complete edge solutions.
Improve software performance, reliability, testability, security, and maintainability.
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, technical documentation, and product improvement.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, embedded systems, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong software development experience with Python and C or C++.
Experience developing software for embedded devices, edge systems, or resource constrained environments.
Experience with embedded machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, Edge Impulse, or comparable technologies.
A solid understanding of low level system architecture, memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization.
Experience working with Linux, real time operating systems, or comparable embedded platforms.
Familiarity with serial communication, embedded protocols, hardware interfaces, or device drivers.
The ability to analyze complex requirements, communicate technical decisions clearly, and work effectively with engineering and domain experts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cross compilation toolchains, embedded Linux, or the Yocto Project.
Experience deploying artificial intelligence models on microcontrollers or processors such as Arm Cortex M platforms.
Experience working with real time sensor data, control logic, or multithreaded applications.
Familiarity with model compression, quantization, acceleration, or other methods for optimizing artificial intelligence models.
Experience with secure firmware updates, remote software deployment, or device lifecycle management.
Experience with device control and management platforms such as NetControl or comparable technologies.
Experience in industrial, infrastructure, automation, audiovisual, or connected device environments.
Location and Eligibility
This position may be based in Frisco, Texas, or performed remotely by qualified candidates worldwide. Employment arrangements depend on the candidate’s location and the requirements of the role and project.
