Latest Bitlogix NetControl 1.5 Software Update Includes Driver Support for Extron IPLink

DALLAS, Texas, June 24, 2004 – Bitlogix released at InfoComm 2004 an update of its top selling NetControl® media control software application. The new NetControl 1.5 software offers full support for three Extron IPLink TCP/IP interfaces. NetControl is a software application for audiovisual equipment to assist in controlling and maintaining projectors and LCD monitors over LAN or WAN networks.

With its latest software update NetControl® 1.5 supports the Extron IPLink products IPL T S2, IPL T S4, and IPL T S6. All three TCP/IP interfaces can be setup through the NetControl application using a comfortable user interface. NetControl is one of the only media control software applications on the market offering driver support to Extron IPLink products.

All NetControl® control tasks, such as event scheduling, anti-theft control, status reporting, E-mail notification and main projector control, are compatible with the Extron IPLink products with no additional programming required. The new update will be a free update for registered users of the NetControl® Advanced Package.

According to Robert Sterzing, CEO of Bitlogix, the support of Extron IPLink products is the consequent implementation of Bitlogix's strategy to offer independent software solutions for existing media control systems.

The NetControl® 1.5 software gives the user the ability to do remote maintenance of audiovisual equipment over a TCP/IP network without actually seeing the AV equipment. It is designed to run in 24/7 applications. NetControl® is compatible for use with Microsoft® Windows® 2000 and Microsoft® Windows® XP.
