Bitlogix™ NetControl® software supports new SHARP XG-MB70X DLP™ projector

Dallas, TX, January 12, 2005 – The latest version of the Bitlogix™ NetControl® media control software offers driver support for the XG-MB70X DLP™ projector from Sharp Electronics. NetControl® uses the integrated LAN port of the XG-MB70X projector to access and control the projector over a computer network. All main projector control functions such as power control, input selection, volume control are easily accessible through the NetControl user interface. Beside the countless control possibilities of NetControl® users who work with NetControl® and the XG-MB70X do not need any additional Ethernet control interfaces, TCP/IP interfaces or media control systems and therefore gain huge cost savings.

NetControl® is a software based media control system for central control and maintenance of AV equipment over the LAN/WAN. The integrated Anti-Theft-Control and the Event Scheduler help audiovisual departments in universities, colleges and medium sized corporations to keep full control over their equipment. Reading projector lamp life, power control, input selection, temperature control and signal detection are just a view examples of NetControl’s feature-rich status reporting tools. NetControl® is compatible for use with Microsoft® Windows® 2000 and Microsoft® Windows® XP.

The development team of NetControl® software is determined to include additional LAN projectors from various manufacturers such as Epson, EIKI, Hitachi, NEC and Panasonic this year to satisfy growing customer needs. Bitlogix offers existing customers software updates if applicable.
