System Requirements
Bitlogix NetControl is a Windows based software application designed for professional AV environments using standard IT and network infrastructure. It can support standalone installations as well as centralized deployments across rooms, buildings, campuses, and distributed sites.
Actual requirements depend on the number of managed devices, reporting activity, event schedules, database growth, network conditions, and the planned deployment architecture. Contact Bitlogix to confirm compatibility before beginning a new installation.
Minimum System Requirements
The following requirements provide a general starting point for evaluating NetControl:
A supported 64 bit version of Microsoft Windows
8 GB of system memory
At least 300 MB of available storage for the application installation
Additional storage for device data, logs, reports, backups, and database growth
A stable TCP/IP network connection with 100 Mbps or faster connectivity
Reliable network access between the NetControl system and all managed devices
Compatible projectors, displays, network interfaces, or device servers using PJLink, SNMP, manufacturer specific TCP/IP protocols, RS232, or RS485
Operating System Compatibility
NetControl was developed for Microsoft Windows environments and has been deployed across multiple generations of Windows desktop and server operating systems. For new installations, Bitlogix recommends using a currently supported Windows platform.
Contact Bitlogix to confirm compatibility with Windows 10, Windows 11, or a specific Windows Server configuration before deployment.
Virtualized Deployments
NetControl can be installed within a compatible Windows virtual machine when the virtual environment provides reliable networking, persistent storage, stable system resources, and continuous connectivity to the managed AV devices.
Virtual deployments may be suitable for enterprise data centers, campus infrastructure, and centralized AV management environments. Compatibility depends on the Windows guest operating system, virtualization platform, network configuration, device communication requirements, and deployment size.
